Mrs. Doris E. Middlebrooks Jackson went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2019. She was born to the late Junious and Mattie Julia Cobb Middlebrooks on May 4, 1932.

Mrs. Jackson was the loving wife of Bossie Jackson, Jr. and mother to Patrice Jackson, Philip Jackson (Beverly) and Paula Jones. She also leaves behind her brother, Perry Middlebrooks; a sister, Brenda L. Middlebrooks; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Mary Sue Howell.

Mrs. Jackson was a lifetime member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Her unique take on life and family will be truly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
