To the Collier Family: WE are truly sorry to hear about the passing of Shirley Collier. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of great sadness. When times like this arrive, there is always a need to be on the receiving end of getting words of support and comfort from the family and friends. Yes again we have lost another person that was truly special to us. May I also use this time to remind all that God is the source of all tender mercy and comfort. ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) He is concerned about the hardship that we are dealing with, and has given us this remarkable promise. For a brief moment please take note of this loving promise. Directing all grieving hearts to the scriptures, God tells us that He would soon call to those in the grave, and that our departed love ones would hear His voice and stand up in life again. ( John 5:28-29) Oh what a wonderful promise this truly is. From these verses,God is giving us His personal guarantee that Shirley, and billions of others will stand up in life again. That Shirley would be reunited back with her many family members and friends. So the question that now confronts the human family is this; do we have faith that this resurrection promise from God would take place? To help all to develop strong faith in this promise,God has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about this resurrection blessing. Here is just one such example that is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I surely hope that all will get a chance to see how the verses apply to Shirley, anda great host of others who await their personal resurrection from God. So in closing we say please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that hen God makes a promise, it always becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)

Sorry for your loss. Few things cause more stress and heartache than the death of a love one. Many take comfort in knowing that they will see their dead loved ones again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) Isaiah 25:8 speaks of the time when Jehovah God will swallow up death. It is comforting to read in the bible that in the future pain and suffering will be a thing of the past. Meditating on these scriptures have help me cope with the loss of a loved one. I hope they will be of comfort to you as well.
