Obituary For Virginia Jones
Virginia Stewart Jones, 93, transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Middletown Home.
She was born in Steelton, daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Young) Stewart, a graduate of the old Steelton High School and retired from Capital Blue Cross. Virginia was the widow of George Jones and in addition to him and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Prince Jones; her twin sister, Josephine Stewart Bethea and her step-mother, Rachel Stewart.
She leaves to celebrate her life, her daughters, Vicki Butler and Toni Muhammad (Kenneth); her son, Hakim Zahir (Fowlayna); her eight grandchildren, eleven great-grands, nine great-great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 30 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with viewing 10 until 11 a.m. and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
