Catherine Rodgers Harris, 82, of Osceola, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born October 9, 1936 in Weldon, Arkansas and was the daughter of Alcuin and Willie Adams Rodgers. Catherine was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Osceola where she served as the Church secretary for over 30 years and was a member of the Mother’s Board. She retired as a sales associate for Belk’s Department Store in Osceola.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Harris and a great grandson, Keiland Woodson, Jr,

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters, Monica Harris and Nina Harris, both of Osceola, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Sharde Tyler of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Kaitlyn Adams of Osceola, Arkansas; two nieces that she raised as daughters, Jeannie Adkins and Darlene Rodgers both of Osceola, Arkansas; one great granddaughter, Kei’Nyla Woodson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister, Jessie Mae Davis of Houston, Texas; one God-daughter, Gwyn Long of Osceola, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 9:00a.m. until services begin at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 9075 North Pearl Street, Osceola, Arkansas. Reverend Cleveland Cain will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
