I had the pleasure of meeting Darryl and Neal back in the 90's while working at Sigma Electric, Darryl was my supervisor and bball partner, we beat any and everybody that walked thru the door I"ve never played with anyone who understood the pick and roll game but we ran it to perfection. Easy going, laid back and hardworking.I'll never forget the good times we had after work just talking about life. We lost touch when I relocated back home to DC but I'll cherish the memories my brother, rest in peace.... Melvin Gilchrist

Hello Brown Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area. Having heard of your most recent, and very tragic loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too, well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 ; 21. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up this powerful Scripture, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.A3FHC With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor ; P.W.

Darryl ~ My Uncle, Brother and Friend-this day has come too soon. The four of us (Donald, Mike, you and I) grew up together climbing barns, sliding under the bridge and playing football. We were like the four Musketeers: “ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE”. Then life happened but our love for each never stopped, it will always continue to be everlasting. Rest In Peace Uncle. Our thoughts and prayers are with your wife and daughters. The Willises (Bunnie, Michell, Micah and Micayla)

To a great friend, What do you say about a man who was so calm but yet so cheerful to be around and always positive, even when being negative was so easy. Wisdom and courage were just a few of your traits. You will truly be missed by everyone. Rest in peace my good brother!

Dear Uncle Daryl, I will forever remember your kind, & gracious spirit. You were a quiet soul but had such a great presence, just like your brother Cliff, my dad. I remember all the Brown brothers joking, laughing and playing around...happy all the time. You will forever be loved and we miss you dearly. Love, your niece, Sharlene

My uncle was kind, happy and a loving person. Growing up I remembered him playing basketball and always having a smile on his face. As an adult, he continued to be a loving person. He was a loving father to his children and great person. He will definitely be missed. May he rest in peace. Sekina Showers
