Obituary For Mr. Wade Thomas Blount

Wade Thomas Blount, age 61, Known as “Poemy” was born in Dillon County, South Carolina to Robert K. Blount and the late Essie Mae Blount on May 13, 1957. He earned his wings on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

He attended the Dillon County Public Schools system in Dillon County, South Carolina.

Wade was a hard-worker, he loved to clean and cook and loved his mom. His favorite foods were chicken and potato salad. One thing about him he loved his people.

Wade was preceded in death by his mother: Essie Blount; three sisters: Virginia Sears, Ella Mae Blount, Mary Brown; two brothers: Robert Lee Blount and Fredrick Blount; one nephew: Corey Palmer.

Wade leaves to cherish loving memories ~ his father: Robert K. Blount; three brothers: William (Patricia) Blount, John (Angeal) Blount and James Blount; one sister: Ruby (Henry) Palmer; special nephews who took care of him to the end, and thank you: Andriea Blount and Ryan Blount; one aunt: Hattie McCoy of Dillon, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
