Obituary For Calvin Wilson

Funeral ceremony for Deacon Calvin E. Wilson, 78, of White Plains, Al will be held 1PM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the New Prospect Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Hardy, Pastor and Dr Solon Gresham Jr., Eulogist.

Burial will follow in White Plains Community Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday May 17, 2019 1pm-7pm at the chapel of Goodson Funeral Home.

Survivors include: children, Carolyn (Carlton) Gilbert of DeArmanville, Al., Bernard Wilson of Anniston, Al., Patrick (Deena) Wilson of Atlanta, GA., Doretta Wilson of Plainfield, NJ, Mark (Shemeka) Wilson of Saks, Al., Shawn Wilson of White Plains, Al., Callie (Bennie) Wilson of Jacksonville, Al., Chasity (Dewayne) Wilson of Weaver, Al., April Wilson of Jacksonville, Al., Donovan Wilson of Plainfield, NJ, Demetric (Niki) Wilson of Oxford, Al., and Calvin (Brandy) Wilson of Gadsden, Al.,his adopted son, Shane Davidson of Oxford Al., brothers, Steve (Judy) Wilson of White Plains, Al., and Celous Wilson of Jacksonville, Al., sister Dean (General) Jackson of Anniston, Al., uncle and best friend Frank (Horce) Sampler of Marietta, Ga., 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Wilson, his parents, Brownie and Ozella Wilson, brother, Harold Wilson, and sisters, Catherine Thomas and Mable Wilson. So sorry for your loss It is so hard to focus on daily activities after such a lose but hold on to all your precious memories of your loved one. and remember our Creator, Jehovah God has them in His memory as well.
