It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Mr. Sylvester Thompson, of Gifford, SC. He passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, SC.

Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, 12 Noon, at St. Peter AME Church. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel RMUE Church Cemetery.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, May 17, 2019, 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at M.F. Riley's Memorial Chapel.

Family and friends are gathering at the home his wife, Mary Thompson (Lillie Bell), at 450 Sumpter Street, Gifford, SC.
