Minister, Rev. John "June" Pierce (Richmond, CA), 88, entered this life on July 25, 1930 (Durham, NC) and transferred his earthly residency peacefully on May 9, 2019, with his wife of over 64 years, Rostella "Topcey" (Green) Pierce, their children and grandchildren by his side. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Service will be at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home, 2502 NC. Hwy 55, Durham, NC 27713, on Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says:..."He [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you!
