Obituary For Wilson "Willie" Williams, Jr.

MR. WILSON “WILLIE” WILLIAMS, JR. – AGE 85, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born on January 21, 1934 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Wilson Williams, Sr. and Viola Jackson Williams. Those who preceded him in death are his sisters, Rosella McNair, Sister Viella Williams, Thadis Gram, Alether McCallum, brothers, Horace Williams, Roosevelt Williams, Joe Williams, and son, Charles Wilson Williams.

Survivors are his loving family, devoted friend, Ethel Mae Williams of Dalton, Georgia; three daughters, Renda Joyce Williams of Pennsylvania, Ashley Denise Williams, and Tara Tibbs Wilhite of Dalton, Georgia; grandchildren, Jason, Tiffany, Kala, Jasmine, Emanie; great grandchildren, DeRon, Devin, Ty, Brooklyn, Naima, Jahiem, Arielle; sisters, Martha Powell of New York, Georgiana Mitchell of Rowland, North Carolina; brothers, Alonza Williams of Lumberton, North Carolina, Dave Williams, Samuel D. Williams of New York, Steve Earl Williams of Virginia; devoted nephews, William McNair, and George Jones; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Homegoing Service will be on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. in the Chapel with Pastor Matt Evans, and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 A. M. and the family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 P. M. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery.
