Obituary For Mrs. Willie Fay Bates

Mrs. Willie Fay Bates, of Commerce, GA, age 79, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA. The visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends during the visitation hours. Instate will be held from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00pm at Barrett Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, 1064 Athens Road, Crawford, GA 30630. The eulogist is Rev. Larry Dyer. Interment will be held in the Mars Hill Church Cemetery, 2661 Mars Hill Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Ms. Bates is predeceased by her parents General Lee and Mildred Brooks. She is survived by her children: Terry Donald (Penny) Noell, Tammy Denise (Richard, Sr.) Whiten, Jeffrey Lee Noell, and Rodney Lamar Noell (Pat). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Richard Whiten, Jr., Wendy Whiten, Angela Dale, Jennifer Noell, Michelle Hulsey, Christopher Noell, and Meria Saxon. Additionally, she is survived by seventeen (17) great grandchildren and her brother: O'Neil Brooks (Ann).
