Obituary For Kenneth Jerome Turner

Kenneth Jerome Turner was born on November 27, 1951 in Ft Pierce, Fl., to the union of the late Donnell and Juanita Turner. He was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Fl. where he attended the public schools and graduated from Lincoln Park Academy, with the class of 1970. Immediately after completing high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the 557th Civil Engineering squadron. After completing his service to the country, he worked as a truck driver for Varn Citrus, along with a few other companies.

On Wednesday, May 8th, Kenneth went to be with the Lord, at his home.He was preceded in death by his parents, Donnell and Juanita; grandmothers, Ethel Bryant and Johnnie Mae Turner; brother, Donnell Turner, Jr.; twin sisters, Donnie Jean and Donnie Sue Turner; grandsons, Gary Green and De'Kwuan Brown; aunts, Blanche Hester, Virginia Thomas, Ola Williams, Mary Alice Green, Mildred King, Estelle Thomas; uncles, Joe Turner, John, Albert, and Alphonsa Barrett.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Nora Turner; daughters, Kimberly, Nichelle, and Katina Turner; stepson, Darrell Brown (Teya Williams); grandchildren, Jordan Ewing, Taylor and Charla McKenzie, Darrielle and Nia Brown, and Louis McKenzie, III, ; great grandchildren, Jayden Gilchrist, Romeo Hughes, Layla Townsend, and Cameron Bradley; brothers, Bernard Turner, Sr. (Teresa) and Larry "L.T." Turner; a sister, Darcell "Ms. Doll" Collins; nieces, Pamela Jefferson-Wright (Eugene), Tanya and Yolanda Turner, Lamonica "Moni" Collins-Bouie (Tracy), Latara "Tara" and Shayla Collins, Anetra Turner, Tracy Gaskins, and Brittney Turner; nephews, Anthony and Terrell Turner, Jovorius King, Latravious "Tra" Collins (April), Travis (Tori), B.J., Corey, Quan, and Yuri Turner; uncles, John and James Turner; aunts, Francine and Kay Stokes, Dorothy, Linda, Marva, and Betty Jean Turner: special cousins, Marie Anderson (Truman), Larry McCoggle (Trina); an 'adopted' grandchild, Jermain Joseph, and a host of loved relatives and friends.

A public visitation for Mr. Kenneth Turner will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 1:00pm at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL.
