Mrs. Esther C. Mason, 85, of Ridgeway Virginia, died May 17,2019. Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Perry- Spencer Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will be in the Wilson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Esther was born March 15, 1934 in Eden, NC to the late Bowman and Ruth Essie Wilson. She passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 peacefully at her home. Esther worked in the Banking System for 13 years and in Healthcare for over 10 years in New York. She was an entrepreneur, kind hearted and strong person. Her #1 hobby was working – which allowed her to move and live in many places such as: Nevada, Upstate New York, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Virginia and North Carolina. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lois Jean Cook, her siblings; Lynn Wilson, Bob Wilson, John Wilson, Jim Wilson, Hallie Strong, Nellie Dupree, Ellen Moyer, Bowman Wilson, Frank E. Wilson, Hortense Bostic, Chauncey O. Wilson, Nannie Mae Palmer, Bessie L. Beard, Delphine W. Landers, Dorsey Wilson and Mammie Florence. Left to cherish her memory: her son; Byron K. Clark, Jr. and daughter; Cheryl Lynn Millner, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
