Amos Payne, Jr., age 79, of Atlanta, GA formerly of Athens, GA passed May 13, 2019.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Little Valley Baptist Church, Nicholson, GA with interment in Nimno A.M.E. Church cemetery.

Viewing, Friday 1-7 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: his wife, Doris Payne; children, Jacqueline Payne, Anthony (Marcelle) Payne, Dexter (Deborah) Payne, Alan Payne, Terrell (Karla) Payne; siblings, Leon Thurmond, Bobby Jameson and Rosa Lee Payne; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother in law, Rollie Hanson; and god-daughter, Sherl Hill.
