Obituary For Sallie Pearl Wiggins II

Sallie Pearl Wiggins II was born on May 25, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Sallie Pearl Wiggins I and Charles Henry Wiggins, Sr.

She received her primary education and ultimately finished her post-secondary education receiving her LPN license from Indian River Community College (Indian River State Colle) in 1982. She later was awarded her Associate in Arts Degree in Health Services Administration from Keiser University in 1999. During her tenure at Keiser, she was put on the Dean’s List and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In 2003, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Metropolitan University. She then furthered her education at the University of Phoenix where she received her Master’s in Health Administration. Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Wiggins was awarded for Small Business Award in 2006. Ms. Wiggins also had the honor of receiving a Doctorate in Theology degree from God House of Deliverance in 2010. She worked at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center for many years before moving to North Florida. Sallie was an accomplished nurse and was often called upon by family and coworkers for medical advice. Sallie was very generous and witty who loved education. She was active and dedicated member of Tabernacle Church of Deliverance for many years.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the book of life was closed for Sallie Pearl Wiggins II and went home to receive her crown of life from the Master. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sallie Pearl Wiggins I and Charles Henry Wiggins, Sr.; siblings, Robbie Lee Wiggins, Dorothy Woodruff, Gwendlyn Wiggins, Juanita Wiggins, and Charlie Mae Wiggins.

Left to cherish her earthly memories are her children, Juanita Wiggins of Fort Pierce, FL, Annie Lurry of Panama, FL, Otis Lurry of Lake Wales, FL, Douglas(Juanita)Lurry of Pensacola, FL, and Glenford Carter of Titusville, FL; siblings, Joe Thomas(Mary)Wiggins and Charles H.(Lynette)Wiggins both of Vero Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren , and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.

Public visitation for Sallie Wiggins II will take place on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. A funeral service will convene on Saturday, May 25, 2019 beginning at 1:00pm at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Vero Beach, FL. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, FL.
