Leonard, you were one of my best friends in high school, always friendly and caring. I was such a pimply face little insecure person. You were always protective of me. How grateful I was to you. You were like a big brother during the turbulent and questionable period of school intergration at Jefferson High. Although following high school, we only saw each other during class reunions, what a fun and rewarding time that was. I will miss you here on earth. Thanks for singing that solo at Corinth Baptist Church on your last day on earth. My mom loved it. She also said that when she spoke to you, she said she told you that she was sure you didn't know who she was. You told her that you would never forget "Ms. Dot's voice". How special and how sweet that was for her to hear at 92 years of age. You made people feel special. I am sure our paths will cross again. In loving memory, Pauline Smith Chambers. Lawanda family, my condolences to you. May you be content that the Lord's will has been done and your brother is at PEACE. Love to you all.
