Obituary For Mr.Milton David Jackson, Sr.

Mr. Milton David “Bean” Jackson, Sr., 87, of Moss Point, MS, died May 23, 2019. He was born April 23, 1932 in Royce, MS to the late Dave and Bertha Jackson. The Lord sent his angels down to escort Milton home on the May 23, 2019, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Triplet; five sisters, Salome Jackson, Adella Jackson, Idella Fairley, Bernice Newman and Emma Lee Jackson; four brothers, John L. Jackson, Nathan Jackson, Eligah Jackson, Sr., and Cleophus Jackson.

Mr. Jackson leaves cherished memories to his wife of 54 years, Gracie McCants Jackson of Moss Point, MS; three children, Robert McClain, Sr. and Milton D. Jackson, Jr. of Ocean Springs, MS, and Sonja Jackson of Pascagoula, MS; grandchildren, Robert (Lakesha) McClain, Jr. of Moss Point, MS, Le’Shannon Jackson of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Megan Richardson of Pascagoula, MS; sister, Elnora Reddix of Ocean Springs, MS; four sisters-in-law, Carrie Jackson, of Moss Point, MS, Ernestine Jeffries, of Los Angeles, CA, Brenda Davison, of Monroeville, AL, and Lela (Jim) Thompson, of DeSoto, TX; two brothers-in-law, Charlie (Joanne) McCants, of Gautier, MS, and Earnest McCants, Beatrice, AL; a devoted niece Ava Jackson Williams of Moss Point, MS; ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a. m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 3919 Macphelah Rd, Moss Point, MS. Viewing will begin one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Macphelah Cemetery, Moss Point, MS.
