Lillie B Hughes, 79 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Saturday, November 18, 1939 in Senatobia, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Faulkner and the late Lillie Freeman Faulkner. She was employed by Shelby County Schools. Surviving are sons, Rodney Hughes (Teresa) and Ronald Faulkner (Angela), daughters, Phyllis Hughes and Yashica R Robinson;three sisters, Mattie Williams, Doora Faulkner Mitchell and Sandra Faulkner, three brothers; Alonzo Faulkner, Ozell Faulkner and Leroy Faulkner; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Morning Grove Baptist Church located at 9399 Grove Road Cordova, Tennessee 38016. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
