Obituary For Eurestine Sashington

Eurestine Sashington, affectionately known as Stine, was born on June 7, 1957 in Chatom, Alabama to Laura Ruth Sashington. She exchanged her earthly life for her heavenly wings on June 1, 2019. She loved writing poetry, giving teddy bears and watching television. She was a gifted gardener who could bring life to any dead plant. She was also a proud graduate of Lille B. Williamson High School. Eurestine leaves to cherish her memory: Her devoted life partner, David Lewis; mother and grandmother, Laura “Ruth” Morris and Mattie Sashington; late cousin, Olivia (James) Craig; seven children, Tanika, Latasha (Jimmie), Murice (Shanda), Shantavia (David), Amanda, Mahogany, and Laura (Darnell); Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two siblings, Zenita (Eric) and Albert (Diane); A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Her remains will lie in state Saturday June 8, 2019 @ New Harvest Ministries ( 1126 Hutson Dr ) Mobile, AL from 10am until the 11AM Homegoing Celebration with Pastor Corey McCoy, Officiating Minister. The Earthly bed of resting in Whispering Pines Cemetery.
