GIFFORD, SOUTH CAROLINA

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Mr. Willie Gardner, of Gifford, South Carolina. Mr. Gardner passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at his residence in Gifford.

Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019, 11 AM, at Second Baptist Church, Brunson, South Carolina, Rev. Marcel Smith, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Grounder Cemetery, Gifford, South Carolina.

Mr. Willie (TC) Gardner was born in Hampton County, South Carolina, January 8, 1953 to the late Eloise G.W. Robinson, and Tucker Charlton. Choosing Christ as his savior he joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford, South Carolina. He attended the public schools of Hampton County.

Willie was employed with the water department for the Town of Gifford.

We say good bye for now and until we meet again, What we really mean, is talk to you later...Our best friend, Because today is not the end, it's only the beginning, To a new life that God allows us to keep living.

Willie love for family was a passion and his personality was like no other. He was known to his family and community as Bou Ya...His hobbies to include: Fishing, listening to music, being family oriented and being the heart beat to all he came in contact with.

On Friday, May 31, 2019 Willie transitioned from labor to reward accepting the eternal light.

For those we love just don't go away, but yet they walk beside us each and every day. Unspoken, unheard, unfelt, but always near, we still love you, miss you and wish you were here.

Three Granddaughters: Sis brothers: Johnnie (Laurie) Gardner, Terry Robbins both of Gifford, SC, Darvin (Phyllis) Robins, Varnville, SC, Alexander Robins, Alpoco, TX., Tucker Charlton Jr., Eric (Bernice) Charlton both of Barton, SC., Four sisters: Deloris (William) Brown, Jacksonville, Fla., Jackie (Sunny) Outing, Gifford, SC., Patricia (Ricky) Wright, Varnville, SC., Tyre (Carmichael) Williams, Barton, SC. Nine aunts, four uncles. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends: James Risher, Michael Owens, and Shelia Gray, Gifford, SC.
