Obituary For Hubert Davis

Hubert Davis was born December 21, 1952 in Alston, GA to the parents, Artie C. Brantley and Moses Davis, both proceeded him in death.

He attended Montgomery County school system where he played basketball and received his formal education. Hubert relocated to Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he was employed as a truck driver and security guard.

He was united in holy matrimony to Melba Jean Morris December 22, 1989.

Big Hue as he was affectionally known was fun loving, funny and charismatic. To those he loved the most he was a gentle giant. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

On Sunday, May 19, 2019, Hubert heeded to summons of the Almighty God and left this earthly world for his heavenly home.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Melba Jean Davis, grandmother Lillie Brantley, sister, Mae Doris Davis, and Patricia Leach.

Hubert leaves his loving and beautiful memories to be cherished by his son, Lance Davis; stepdaughters, Kimi Brown and Meiko Askew; grandson, Terrance Davis; sisters Shandora Moore (Johnnie) of Palm Bay, FL, Angelena Del’valle Buckle (Keith) of Orlando, FL , Yvonne Leach of New York; brothers, Ray Favors (Starlin) of Brandon, FL, Glen Davis of New York; aunts, Kate Laney of Lyons, GA, Lillie Ruth Peeples of Lauderhill, FL; uncles, Ralph Brantley (Athena) of Vidalia, GA, Tommy Brantley (Angeline) of Gainesville, FL. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
