Funeral services will be Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 3580 Robinson Street, Jackson, MS 39209.

Roderick Brown was born on August 23, 19*82 in Jackson, Mississippi to Mae and Johnny Brown. He was the fourth of four children.

Roderick attended Lanier High School in Jackson, MS. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends, he also loved traveling and having fun, most of all, Roderick loved being a devoted father. Roderick was chef for Belhaven University a job in which he enjoyed.

Roderick was preceded in death by fraternal grandparents, Otis and Minnie Owens, his paternal grandparents, John and Lucy Maw Brown-Warren and his grandfather Davis Warren.

Roderick leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents, Mae and Johnny Brown of Jackson, MS; daughter, Jhonnetta Brown of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Kimberley Brown and Tameka Brown both of Jackson, MS; one brother Kelvin Brown of Clinton, MS, a special friend, Megan Williamson of Nashville, TN and a host other relatives and friends.
