Mary Lou Melvin, 96, departed this life on Thursday, June 5, 2019.

Funeral service will be at Morehead Avenue Baptist Church, Durham, NC 27707, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 1:00 pm, visitation 12:00 noon.

God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds."
