First of all to the family of Mrs. Flossie Mae Grier has my deepest sympathy and condolences.I first met Mrs. Grier is when my son Tyrone attended Burgess-Peterson Academy with Mrs. Griers' granddaughter Ashley. That was in August 1995. I have known her every since. That over 25 years ago. She is a wonderful person to know. She was an advocate for the seniors citizens. She difinitely will be missed in the East Atlanta community. Rest In Peace (RIP). The Lord have called you home from your earthly home to your Heavenly home with him. To the family stay in the good book, which is the Bible (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth). There is power and strength in Gods' words.I will continued to keep the family in prayers.

The Board of Directors and Staff of the Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority Cherie’s the memories of Mrs Flossie Mae Grier. As a founding member of the Board for 20 years (1990-2010), Mrs Grier was instrumental in planning the foundation of what has evolved to be a strong non-profit organization that provides a variety of much needed services to the low income citizens of Fulton County. Mrs Grier actively served as a community representative for the East Atlanta Community which is located in DeKalb County. She served as Chairman of several committed and was active in both Fulton and DeKalb County governments. Mrs Grier was dedicated to her family and made sure that the community needs were made known through her voice and presence at community, State and Local government meetings and in her church life. Her service and commitment will surely be missed. The Staff and Board of Directors expresses sympathy to the family of Mrs Flossie Mae Grier, and we thank the family which has shared this powerful and keen-sighted with all of us for the benefit of those without a voice.
