Mr. Sherman Dillard, 52, of Eden died June 8, 2019 at Hospice of Rockingham County in Wentworth. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Piney Fork Progressive Primitive Baptist Church in Eden. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Sherman was born to Barbara Jean Dillard and the late William Ed Dillard on May 8, 1966 in Eden, NC. Sherman departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Sherman was also preceded in death by his brothers, William Ivey Dillard, Charles Ray Dillard and Vincent Bernard Dillard. He leaves to mourn his passing: his devoted mother; Barbara Jean Dillard, his loving grandmother; Frances Scales, brothers; Timothy Leon Dillard, Donald Gentry Dillard, special friend; Willie Meena O’Neal, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sherman will be truly missed by all who loved him.
