Rufus Walton, 63, of Phenix City, AL, passed on January 31, 2019 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be 12 noon EST, Thursday, February 7, 2019 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. There will be no public visitation.

Mr. Walton was born October 17, 1955 in Seale, AL to Minnie L. Walton and the late E.C. Walton. He was a 1974 graduate of Central High School; He retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Seale, AL. He is survived by his mother, Minnie L. Walton; brother, Albert (Sandra) Walton; three sisters, Shirley Coker, Judy Jackson and Carolyn Word and a host of other relatives and friends.
