Obituary For Rhoda Hunter
Rhoda Hunter, 86, of Phenix City, AL, passed on January 24, 2019 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. John AME Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Rodney Smith, pastor, officiating and Presiding Elder, Rev. Johnny Rutledge, eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, February 1, 2019 from 3 - 8 p.m. EST with a family hour from 6 - 7 p.m. EST.
Mrs. Hunter was born December 9, 1932 in Phenix City, AL to the late Jamie Miles and the late Mamie Williams Miles. She was a member of St. John AME Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL and she was educated in the Russell County School System. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie McReynolds, Homewood, IL; Shirone Hunter, Phenix City, AL; five sons, Harvey Hunter, Chicago, IL; Aaron Hunter, Broadview, IL; Wallace (Cheryl) Hunter and Derrick Hunter, Phenix City, AL; Oliver (Stephanie) Hunter, Homewood, IL; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
