Obituary For Louise Williams

Mrs. Louise B. "Dean" Williams, 72, of Salem, AL, passed on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon EST, Saturdray, January 26, 2019 at St. Paul CME Church, 179 Bleeker Road, Crawford, AL with Rev. Dr. Renetta Prevo-Williams, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hurtsboro, AL. Visitation will be 12 - 8 pm EST, Friday, January 25, 2019. Repast will be at 502 Main Street, Hurtsboro, AL.

Mrs. Louise B. "Dean" Williams was born September 9, 1946 in Macon County, AL to the late Andrew Brooks and the late Carrie Brooks.

She was a member of St. Paul CME where she served on the Usher Board. She was educated in the Macon County School system. She was employed with West Pepperell where she retired after 35 years. In her later years, she worked for the Russell County School Board in the cafeteria.

She united in Holy Matrimony with James Williams on January 6, 1982 and to this union, one child was born.

Louise was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Williams; parents, Andrew and Carrie Brooks; brother, Willie Mack Brooks and sister, Johnnie L. Tolbert.

Survivors include her husband, James Williams; three daughters, Tracey (Sammy) Rogers, Delphine (Jimmy) Davis and Letitia Williams; four sisters, Correll (Will) Dawson, Rosie (Johnny) Hubbard, Vergie Stallworth and Bernice Brooks; three brothers, Richard (Edna) Brooks, Thomas (Dorothy) Brooks and Eugene (Belinda) Brooks; five grandchildren, LaShera Rogers, Trey Rogers, Kiara Williams, Ilysha Williams and Rachel Harris; four sisters-in-law, Annie Williams, Earnestine (Melvin) Perry, Carolyn Griner and Odessa Brooks; three brothers-in-law, Clarence Tolbert, Ricky Williams and Tony Williams; one aunt, Earlie B. Smith and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
