Albert Floyd, 80, of Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Phenix, City, AL.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. EST, Friday, January 18, 2019 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. with Rev. Isaac Hudson, officiating and Rev. Carlton Pickett, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Garden, Phenix City, AL. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 2 - 8 p.m. EST.

Mr. Floyd was born January 27, 1938 in Salem, AL to the late Charlie Floyd and the late Ella Coar Gibson. He was a member of John Wesley CME Church, Motts, AL. Survivors include his wife, Annie L. Floyd of Phenix City, AL; son, Frederick D. Parris of Phenix City, AL; Two brothers, Eddie J. Gibson (Judy) of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Curlie Gibson of Washington, D.C.; Two granddaughters, Shandra Horace (Phillip) of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Candace Parris of Birmingham, AL; Five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
