Corine Dixon Alexander, 106, of Phenix City, AL passed Friday, January 4, 2019.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 12 noon EST at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Dr. Patrick T. Brown, Pastor, officiating, Interment will follow at church cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 12 noon - 8 p.m. EST.

Sister Corine Dixon Alexander was born September 28, 1912 in Seale, Alabama, to the late Phyllis Dixon and Elias Miles. She was the oldest member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the Miles Family. Sister Alexander was married to the late John Alexander, Sr. Sister Alexander is survived by four sons: John Alexander, Jr. (Eva), Lewis Alexander, Joe Alexander, and Dan Alexander all of Phenix City, Alabama, one son adopted by the family, Dr. Gregory Rucker, Columbus, Georgia: four daughters Alma Alexander, Annie Lindsey, Patricia Alexander all of Phenix City, Alabama and Corene Alexander of Columbus, Georgia, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
