Sheila Butler, 60, of Columbus, GA, passed Thursday, January 03, 2019 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. EST at Carter Monumental C.M.E. Church, Columbus, GA with Rev. Dr. Willett Waller, Pastor, Officiating, Rev. Lovett Thornton, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church cemetery, Pittsview, AL. Visitation is Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 1-8 p.m. EST.

Ms. Butler was born September 18, 1958 to the late John Henry and Jo Ann Kendrick Jones in Columbus GA. She was previously employed as a sales associate with the Post Exchange.

Her survivors include her husband, William Butler III, of Columbus, GA; daughter, Lynnde Butler-Boykin (Anwond) of Sumter SC; sisters, Debbie Chambers (Winston Nickerson) of Columbus, GA, Shawn Leftwich (Antonio) of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Donte and Nastasia of Sumter, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
