"The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want" (Psalms 23:1) Ms. Wendy Cecelia Marlin was born on June 24, 1979 in Worth County, Georgia to the late Mr. Wendell Marlin, Sr., and Mrs. Willie Mae Marlin. Wendy was educated in the Worth County Public School System. She had many talents, and a great skill for playing basketball was one of them. She had a master's mentality for doing cosmetology work or a barber's job. She was a loving mother and had a heart and skills to entertain her young children.

Our beloved Wendy heard the Master's call to come and take her Eternal Rest on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia. Her father, Wendell Marlin, Sr., preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish the memories of Wendy are the loves of her life, her children, Jeremy Marlin, Noah Marlin, Taylor Drayton; her mother, Dr. Willie Mae Marlin; her brother, Wendell Marlin, Jr.; her sister, Yakima (Bryan) Price; her grandmother, Adella Marlin; her godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Greg and Joyce Walker; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many sorrowing friends.
