Obituary For Debra Douglas

Funeral service for Mrs. Debra "Debbie" Paul Douglas will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at St. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 3015 Saint Beulah Rd., Florence, SC. Interment will follow at Florence National Cemetery, with Veterans Honor Guard, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Debra, the daughter of the late Ethel Paul Harrison and the late Richard Wells, was born December 26, 1957 in Florence. She died Thursday, June 13, 2019.

Debra attended Florence Public Schools and was a graduate of McClenaghan High School Class of 1975. She was a member of St. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, a United States Army Veteran and was employed with McLeod Regional Medical Center and Florence Baptist Temple, until her health declined.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Douglas of the home; three sisters, Cynthia (Herman) Finklea, Donnethia Price and Julia Ethel Harrison; two brothers, Charles Edward Harrison and Steven Harrison; two brothers-in-law, Christopher (Anita) Douglas and Cedric (La Sheena) Douglas; a sister-in-law, Debra Purvis Douglas; two uncles, James Henry (Vivian) Paul and Alfred Wells; five aunts, Alma Gregg, Betty Paul, Ann Wells, Ruth Wells and Betty Wells; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 929 Marion Street, Florence and 4625 Old South Dr., Timmonsville.

Cynthia we have not seen or talked to each other since "Desert Storm" when Debbie and my daughter Regina went off to war..."Desert Storm" and God made you strong then, he will help you to be strong now during this difficult time. You all my my deepest sympathy
