Tammy Martin

Barbara Lynn “Tammy” Martin was the 13th child born to Mr. William and Ella Mae Martin in Frisco City, Alabama on April 20, 1968. She was a proud 1987 graduate of Escambia County High School. “Tammy was a music lover and enjoyed every day listening to many lyrics. She is also known for her favorite saying “It is; What It Is!”. She began her early Christian life with the Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church and later in life she found herself completed in majesty faith with the Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church under the leadership of her sister, Pastor Darlene McMillan until her demise on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

“Tammy” was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. William and Ella Mae Martin; one sister, Catherine Lemon; two brothers: Willie Martin and Roy Martin; one niece, Tikeshia Martin, two nephews: Terry Martin and Antonio Martin; one great niece, Catherine “CAT” Martin.

Those who will forever cherish her memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Jasmine Martin; one grandson, Landen Simpson; her devoted and caring siblings: Linda ( Mayor Allen) Lang of Frisco City, AL, Eddie (Cynthia) Martin of Excel, Alabama, Edward (Theresa) Martin, Deborah M. Peterson, , Darlene (George) McMillian, Eartha (John) Jones, Cathy (Joe) Jones all of Atmore Alabama, Sandra (Walter) Greene of Panama City Florida, Bobby (Jeannette) Martin Fayetteville, NC and Jamie Dailey of Frisco City, AL; three Godchildren: Mercedes Hall, Mitchinlina Hall and Zephaniah Crenshaw; ; two sisters-in-law : Patricia Martin of Monroeville, AL and Nancy Martin of Brooklyn, New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
