Mrs. Martha B. Parker was born January 14, 1940 to Louis and Jessie Mae Bishop, Sr. in Bay Minette, Alabama. She was a devout member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was employed at the Stewart Cleaners of Bay Minette, Alabama for 30 years and retired.

Martha B. transitioned from time to eternity on Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Jessie Bishop, Sr.; one sister, Lola Mae Davis; two sons: David Bishop and Ferrell Perdue; four brothers: Sammie, Paul and Joseph all of Bay Minette, Alabama and Louis Bishop, Jr. of Atmore, Alabama.

Those who will forever cherish her memories and continue her legacy: a companion of 41 years, Mr. Moses Mathis; eight children: Allen (Mary) Preston, Jessie (Sandi) Bishop, Yvonne, Johnny, Darrell and Spencer Parker, Lester (Robin) Perdue and Marilyn Thomas; thirty-three grandchildren and seventy-six great grandchildren; three special friends: Etta James, Catherine Lamar and Sarah Finley Watson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
