Obituary For Gary Darnell Davis, Sr.

Mr. Gary Darnell Davis, Sr., age 58, of Washington, DC (Formerly of Warren County, North Carolina) departed this life on Monday, June 17, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend James E. Davis, Sr. will officiate and deliver the eulogy. He leaves to cherish his memories his only son, Gary Davis II, his most loyal dogs, Alex and Coco, his beloved sister Yvonne D. Alston (Eugene) of Warrenton, NC and his devoted three brothers Calvin Davis of Warrenton, NC, Percy Davis (Stephanie) of Washington, DC, and James Davis (Johnsie) of Warrenton, NC. He will also be fondly remembered by his seven nieces, Shelisa, Sybil, Carlisa, Kourtney, Sharnette, Jessica, and Sai’Vonne; his six nephews, Neil, Fenton, Kareem, James II., Jordan and Javion; his son’s mother Lois Davis, close friends, Stanley Greene and Jeanette Oden along with a host of great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

The body will be view at the church starting at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
