Obituary For Mrs. Mae Iona Gadsden

Mrs. Mae I. Gadsden, 94 of Charleston, SC, widow of Rev. Jeronica Gadsden, Sr. passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 peacefully at her home, 3109 Bonanza Rd., Charleston, SC 29414.Surviving are her eight children: Benjamin T. Gadsden, Rev. Bernard J. Gadsden (Georgetta), Glenn A. Gadsden, Rev. Jeronica M. Gadsden, Jr. (Sherry), Sheila E. Gadsden, Raymond K. Gadsden, Alvin J. Gadsden (Sarah) and Adrian L. Gadsden. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A Wake Service will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at Ferry Field Baptist Church, 539 River Road, Johns Island, SC from 6 PM to 8 PM with family visitation from 7 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Gadsden’s Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018, 11 AM at the Old Ashley Baptist Center, 3275 Old Pond Road, Johns Island, SC. Interment: Ferry Field Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Gadsden will lie in state from 10 AM until the hour of service.
