Mrs. Brown passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.
Ella Felder Brown, daughter of the late James and Beulah Felder, graced the world with her presence on January 10, 1954 in Orangeburg, SC. The Lord called her from labor to reward on Friday, June 21, 2019 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.
Ella F. Brown received her education in the public schools of Orangeburg County. Ella always thrived for the best, so she furthered her education at Orangeburg Technical College where she received her GED. Mrs. Ella was a very devoted worker as she spent well over 10 plus year at South Carolina State University.
Mrs. Ella's favorite pass time was knitting, where you could find all of her comfortable quilts and throwers around the house. Her true essence to the earth gave her a natural green thumb. Often times she would include her plants and garden as her children. In her later years, she got to experience her all-time favorite, WWE Wrestle Mania. The joy and excitement that filled her heart as the people she loved to watch on television entertained her in person. Ella met and married the love of her life the late Robert Brown, which they spent over thirty-five plus extraordinary years together; loving each other and enjoying the life that was given to them and not allowing obstacles to get in the way of their happiness. Their holy union blessed them with five loving and wonderful children. She was preceded in death by her parents: James (Beulah) Felder; husband: Robert L. Brown; brother: Charlie Felder; sisters: Beulah Hickson, Jimmy Hamilton and Euella Smith. Ella F. Brown leaves to cherish her memories: three sons Michael Felder (Columbia, SC), Kenneth Felder and Antwan Brown (both of Orangeburg, SC); two daughters: Antwannette Brown and Tekia Brown (both of Orangeburg, SC); three brothers: James Felder (Jamison, SC), Rodger (Barbara) Felder (Orangeburg, SC) and Bernard Felder (Fairfax, SC ); two sister's Mary Keitt and Bettie Felder (both of Orangeburg); one very special Granddaughter of the home (Legacey English); a special grandson Jawuan Felder, a special niece Barbara Felder and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who all will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held noon - 8:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2019.
Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Ms. Antwannette Brown, 267 Maxcy Street, Orangeburg or Simmons Funeral Home & Crematory of Orangeburg.
