Obituary For Mr. Grover Cleveland Booker

Mr. Grover C. Booker, age 86, of Gadsden, AL. passed away on June 18, 2019. Celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at First Baptist Church Green Pastures with Rev. Henry Sterling, officiating. Interment will follow in Montevallo, AL. at the Alabama National Cemetery with Military Honors. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Natile Booker of Gadsden, Al.; two sons, Jerry Booker and Eli(Janice)Booker both of Gadsden, AL.; Five Step-children, Mendell Similton-Jones, Genoa Heard Similton, Shelia Similton . He leaves forty-one Grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Tracey Higgins, Sylvia Holifield, Christy Brown, Randy Evans Sr., LaWayne Daniels, Advantage EMS, Jackie Rhoden, Krystal Freeman, Dr. Richard Grant, Eddie Ellis, Tony Trammell, Marie Holt and Lanise Boyd for all of your acts of kindness and assistance in the care of Mr. Grover Booker. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Professional service entrusted to Prestige Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. " Where the name is synonymous to service."

Natalie, Eli & Jerry, I am so sorry for your loss. I can remember some great times all of us had. Grover was a kind, loving and fun person.
