Obituary For Alfred L. Davis

Funeral services for Mr. Alfred L. Davis will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 SR16, Green Cove Springs, Fl at 3:00pm. Visitation of friends will be held at the church Saturday from 9:30am until the hour of service. Interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

It's nights like this where I miss you the most. I could call you and ask you how things are going. We would talk about sports and family, and how you would come down and see the grandkids when you get some time. It's been almost 2 years, and I still can't believe you're not here on earth physically anymore. I hate the fact that my kids won't get to chance to know you personally and spend time with you. All the amazing things you been through and possessed within is something I will have to to explain word of mouth. I understand we can't live forever, but I wish I had more time with you. Being a 27 young black man at the time losing their father figure was the single most devastating thing I experienced in my lifetime. It hurt me to my core, a pain like no other. But I'm glad God chose you to be my Father. All the things I learned from you good or bad shaped me into who I am today. You will forever be my GOAT, and I hope that you're somewhere proud of me.
