Obituary For Queen Esther Lane

The funeral services for the late Mrs. Queen Esther Lane of 117 Orchard Hill Drive, Lot #B-2, Ashburn, Georgia, who departed this life on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her residence, will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia with Reverend Lester Green, officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Ms. Queen Esther Lane was born on March 24, 1966 in Ashburn, Georgia to Mr. Jerry Lane and the late Ms. Mildred Vail.

She was educated in the Turner County Public School System.

Queen was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, whom she dearly loved. Queen was full of life and was a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

On Sunday, June 30, 2019, Queen Esther heeded the Master’s call to come unto Him from Labor to Eternal Rest at her home, surrounded by her family. Her mother, Ms. Mildred Vail, a brother, Tony Lane, and two brothers-in-law, Robert McCoy, Henry Rushin, have all preceded her in death.

Queen Esther leaves to cherish her memories Mr. Tony Lawson; her father, Jerry Lane; two daughters, Queentoria Wood (Jimmy Key), Raven Lane; grandchildren, Serenity Lewis, Jah’Khyon Lane, Messiah Lawson; sisters, Betty McCoy, Marian Rushin, Mildred Sheffield, Angela Jones, Audrey Vail, Dorothy Jernigan, Janie Felton, Hattie Jones, Deborah Lane; brothers, Jerry Lane of Alabama, L. J. (Angela) Lane, Raymond Lane, Tyrone Vail, Anthony Jones; a mother-in-law, Mrs. Louella Lawson; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives to cherish her memories.
