Obituary For Sammie Caldwell

Sammie "Chris" Caldwell, 45, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 30, 2019.

He was born on January 17, 1974 in Concord, North Carolina. He was the son of Daisy Shropshire Massey and James Caldwell.

Chris was married to the late Karen Lynn Creighton Caldwell.

Chris was a "1993" graduate of South Rowan High School.

He was very active in playing football and basketball. He was also involved in ROTC and Boy Scouts of America.

Cherishing his memories are one son, Samuel Isaiah Caldwell of Kershaw, SC; one daughter, Alexia Nicole Thompson of Rock Hill, SC; his mother of Heath Springs, SC; his father of Washington, DC ; three brothers, Lorrenza Lee, Jr. of Heath Springs, SC, William J. McCoy of Statesville, NC and Terrance L. Clark of Concord, NC; one sister, LaShae B. McCoy of Statesville, NC Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Cedar Rock Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jerusha Gaither.
