Obituary For Tamara Bazemore

Tamara Nicole Gaither Bazemore, age 34, departed from this earth on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at United Medical Center (UMC), Washington, DC. Tamara was born in Washington, DC to her parents, Sandra Jenkins Gaither and Rodney Erwin (Button) Gaither on March 11, 1985. She was reared in a Christian home by her grandparents, Felmon and Josephine Gaither in Liberty Hill, SC. Tamara accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Messiah Presbyterian Church USA where she received her Christian faith training. She attended Baron Dekalb Elementary School, Camden, SC and North Central Middle and High Schools , Kershaw, SC. She also attended ATEC in Camden, SC and was certified in Cosmetology. She was presently attending UMC for phlebotomy.

She was a member and officer of the Camden-Kershaw County NAACP Youth Council during middle school and high school. Tamara's father, Erwin and grandparents, Felmon Gaither, Sr. and Thomas and Doris Jenkins preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Autumn Skye Bazemore of Washington, DC; her mother, Sandra Jenkins of Maple, Washington, DC;; sister, Neilan Timberlake (Bobby) of Capitol Heights, MD; two nieces; Laila and Averie Timberlake; grandmother, Josephine Gaither of Liberty Hill, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Stewart Funeral Home by the Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Reverend William B. Gaither with burial in the Messiah Presbyterian Church USA Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Viewing will be 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
