Obituary For Willie James Leonard

Deacon Willie Leonard,72,of Gadsden. He is survived by his loving wife Pastor Eula Leonard Deacon Willie James Leonard was born December 24, 1946 to the late Mable Whiteside Leonard and Shelley Leonard. Sunday morning July 7th, 2019 GOD Called him home to rest. He attended Gadsden Publics School, he worked his first job Pearson Chemical and moved to Atlanta, Ga- Worked at H.B. Fuller Co. for 38 Years and retired and moved back to Gadsden, Al.

He accepted the lord at an early age attended Antioch Baptist Church E. Gadsden. Joined the house of God Church-597 Auburn Ave Atlanta, Ga was filled with the holy ghost under the leadership of Bishop James Embry. He was chairman of the Deacon board Bishops Driver for many years and was dedicated to the church and The people of God. He loved to travel love money and he loved himself some Eula.

The memories of his wonderful blessed life will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 39 Years Pastor Eula Leonard. Children- Anthony Leonard(Michele),James Leonard(Rachel),Ismeal Leonard(Deneshia), Lisa Shuford, Alicia (Bobbie) Sabders, Vincent Shuford, Thomas Shuford (Toyka), 16 Grandchildren,11 Great Grand-Children, Brother Rev. Louis (Jimmie) Leonard, Sisters Sherley Keonard Woods, Dorothy Leonard; Brothers; Dennis Leonard, De’Aundrie Leonard and a host of cousins, nieces, Nephews and many dear friends Special friends Linda Blocker and Joe Steadmire

Funeral services will be 11 A.M.Tuesday July 16th, 2019 at The West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson) Chapel Burial in Lincoln Hill Memorial Park Bishop Kenneth Jones Officiating. West Gadsden Funeral Home,inc. Directing

It has been about forty years since seeing James . We were young with able bodies. The year have gone and we have grown in years. I am sadden that he is gone . My condolence to Eula, Ant, Nordie and the rest of the family. I can only imagine that he was a good father. Ida Vaughn
