Vincent Eugene Jamison, 47, of Martinsville, VA departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. He was born in Virginia on September 7, 1971, the son of the late Connie B. Hairston and the late Claudia (Berta) Jamison Rorrer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy Hairston and Bryan Rorrer; his maternal grandparents, Sam and Eliza B. Jamison; and his paternal grandparents, William R. and Sarah E. Hairston.

Vincent leaves to cherish his memory, five sons, Charles Devin Jamison, and Vegas Jamison both of Martinsville, VA, Paris Jamison of Greensboro, NC, Isaiah A. Hill and Quintin D. Ford both of California; two sisters, Melissa D. Hairston of Greensboro, NC and Michelle Grant of Martinsville, VA; five brothers, Torrence L. Hairston, Stacey Harris and Rodrickus A. Jamison and Jay Carter all of Martinsville, VA, and Michael L. Rorrer of Lacey, Washington.

He graduated from Martinsville High School, Class of 1989. Vincent was employed with Springs Industries Inc.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Refuge Temple Ministries with Elder Alan Preston, Eulogist. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service and all other times at the home, 1302 Roundabout Rd., Martinsville, VA.

Burial will be held in Hairston Family Cemetery, Terry’s Mt. Road.
