Obituary For Edward Donal McKahand, Jr

McKahand, Edward Donal, Clearwater transitioned on July 8, 2019. A native and life long resident. Donnie's education Class of 1973 Clearwater High, Associate of Arts, 1975, St Petersburg Junior College(now SPC) Bachelor of Arts College of Education 1981, University of South Florida, Master of Science College of Psychological Studies 1997, Nova Southeastern University. Donal was a teacher and counselor with Pinellas County District Schools, he also work for the City of Clearwater. Edward Donal McKahand, Jr. spiritual journey began at the St.Matthew 1st Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He later transferred his membership and continued serving as a deacon at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Donal was a member of The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Omicron Beta Lambda Chapter, Clearwater,FL., Youth Developement Initiatives, Inc., Executive Director/President. Loving cherish and fond memories his wife Angela M., daughters Carmen Campbell(Sedrick), Chloe Cooper, special adoptive daughter Danielle McCray; grandsons Sedrick Jr.,Caden Edward,Carmelo, Caleb and Cai; sister Charlotte McKahand; nephews, nieces; aunt Ethel M Reese; cousins; brothers and sisters in law. Funeral services 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at The New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Clearwater with a visitation on Friday 6:30-8:00 PM at the New Zion Church. Smith-Young FH & CS.
