Obituary For DeWitt Butler Sr.

DeWitt A. Butler, Sr., 77, of S. 13th St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Monday, July 1, 2019.

He was born in Steelton, son of the late Henry and Lurline (Williams) Butler. In addition to his parents, DeWitt was preceded in death by his wife, Cledyth E. Butler and leaves to celebrate his life, his sons, DeWitt, Jr., Douglas, Sr. and Keith Butler; his daughter, Kellie Butler; his sister, Marjorie McKinley; his 13 grands; 29 great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., with viewing 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., Masonic Services at 10:00 a.m. and burial on Friday, July 12 at 1:30 p.m. in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
