Calvin "Niddy" West, a dear father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend died on January 18, 2019 surrounded by his family. Calvin was born to the late James West and Evelyn Seldon West on January 15, 1962.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers: Joe, Charlie, and William; and six sisters: Mary Alice, Nettie Pearl, Janie Mae, Hattie, Carrie and Dorothy.

Niddy loved his family and friends. He loved drag racing, playing cards, sports and playing the Georgia Lottery.

His memories will be cherished by his loving and devoted children: Jessica Nikki West of Columbus, GA; LaMessia (Cody) Jamison of Manchester, GA; Catravius West of Hamilton, GA; and Cierra West of Hamilton, GA; two sisters: Gloria Hardrick of Cataula, GA and Evelyn Robinson of Hamilton, GA; one brother: Willie Williams of Cataula, GA; four grandchildren: Devondre Jordan, Jarquez West, Marquez West, and Anylah Allen; one uncle: Jim (Peggy) West; one brother-in-law: Ira Mullins; one dedicated friend: Sharon West; a compassionate and devoted nephew: Craig Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
