Mr. Gibbons was a native of Jefferson County, born to the parentage of Julia Thompson Gibbons and the late Charlie Gibbons. He relocated to Belle Glade, FL. And was retired from Okeelanta Farms Corporation Sugar Mill.
He in preceded in death by his father and a sister, Dorothy Walker.
Survivors include his mother, Julia Thompson Gibbons, Belle Glade, FL; his children, Cassandra D. Gibbons, Charles T. Gibbons, Jr. and Latoya D. Gibbons, Bell Glade, FL; grandchildren, Anthony Gibbons, Alicia Gibbons, Aziyah Gibbons, Lariah Butler, Lassandra N. Dunkley and Kayla A. Butler; aunts and uncle, Marie Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson and Wright Thompson; nieces, Kimberly Walker and Kesha Walker, Detroit, MI; a multitude of cousins and other relatives and friends.
