Obituary For Mrs. Dorothy Turner

Funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Jo Whiteside Turner will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at Antioch Baptist Church.

Pastor Larry G. Weathers, officiating, and interment at Lincoln Hill Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Sanders Leach, Mrs. Henrietta Thomas Gill and Mrs. Doris Jean Leach; one grandson, Zachary Thomas.

She leaves pleasant memories to be cherished by daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann T. Ferguson (Roderick), Gadsden, AL; one sister, Mrs. Odessa Houston (Cliff) of Flint, MI; four granddaughters, Ronda Vaughn and Montega Childress of Dallas, TX, Anna Leach Johnson of Huntsville, AL, and Candace McDaniel of Gadsden, AL; five grandsons, Kelvin Ferguson (Tisha), Patrick Ferguson and Anthony Thomas of Gadsden, AL, Steven Leach of Las Vegas, NV, and JerMarle Thomas of Kansas City, MO; 15 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Dorothy Kay Leonard and Felicia Richardson of Flint, MI; two special nephews, Lewis Leonard and Johnny Johnson of Gadsden, AL; special honorary son, Elder Quinton Hughley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
